Northern Territorial Food Systems Stream

The Northern Territorial Food Systems (NTFS) stream is one of three streams under the Northern Isolated Community Initiatives (NICI) fund.

The NTFS stream will provide funding to territorial initiatives that are identified by the Northern Food Working Group (NFWG), a federal–territorial working group created to increase economic opportunities in the territories related to growing, harvesting, and processing healthy food.

The goal of the NTFS is to support the following types of territorial initiatives identified by the NFWG:

The NTFS is limited to initiatives identified by territorial governments.
