Target 7.2: Green Procurement
As of April 1, 2014, the Government of Canada will continue to take action to embed environmental considerations into public procurement, in accordance with the federal Policy on Green Procurement.
Scope and Context:
The Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency (CanNor) uses the services of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada (AANDC) procurement staff.

CanNor will use PWGSC green procurement instruments where they are not in contradiction with land claims objectives. In some cases, the use of these instruments may contradict the objectives of comprehensive land claims agreements in communities where CanNor has offices.
